Shilpa Shetty became a true global star after winning the Big Boss-2 celebrity reality show in Britain. Shilpa’s popularity sore in the UK, India and the world over after being a victim of racism on the show. Shetty is also probably the most fit actress in Bollywood. She practices Yoga and recently came out with her own Yoga DVD. She has now joined the ranks of other top Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan (Big B) and Aamir Khan by blogging online.Shilpa Shetty wrote her first ever blog post two days ago on December 10 2008 and if you go by the popularity charts of Big B and Aamir Khan’s blog, it will only be a matter of days before Shilpa’s blog catches fire. Here is an excerpt from her first blog entry where she talks about the terrorist strikes in Mumbai.“Terror has no religion” and there is no point getting into blame games. People from all religions and countries, whether they were Hindus, Muslims or Christians, British, Americans etc, were all affected simultaneously. Hence it’s important that we should join hands to fight against terrorism be it India, Pakistan, USA, UK, Israel and the rest of the world. Pakistan should definitely take a close look at the breeding ground closer to home and clear it with the support of the world if need be . IT IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR. There IS NO DOUBT there has been an intelligence failure and lack of coordination between Police, ATS, Army and the different forces with outdated equipments and lack of personnel. Its time our current politicians took a leaf out of the past and got patriotic inspirations from the likes of our genuine leaders who laid down their lives for the country like Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi who walked and led our people to victory of freedom.

The trade reports coming in from Kerala have it that SRK’s Om Shanti Om has been doing roaring business in Kerala. In fact, it has done better business than their local films released during the same time. King Khan is a big hit down south too. Mind it!

Neha Dhupia break up with Ritwik

Another actor-sportsman affair bites the dust. Neha Dhupia and squash player Ritwik Bhattacharya have apparently split. The break-up came to the fore during the Sunburn Festival that was held in Goa a few days back, where to everyone’s surprise, the duo completely ignored each other. Says an eyewitness, “We all were surprised to find Neha and Ritwik studiously avoiding each other at the event.”A friend of Neha confirms that the two have indeed broken up. “The relationship didn’t work because Neha kept postponing the marriage on some pretext or the other.” The friend adds, “It’s true that Neha had agreed to marry Ritwik but she didn’t share his enthusiasm as far as marriage was concerned.”

Hollywood meets Bollywood in new movie

U.S. film stars and studio bosses are singing Bollywood's praises, perhaps unsurprisingly, given that the Mumbai-based film industry churns out over 1,000 motion pictures a year and controls nearly 95 percent of the Indian market, leaving foreign films with only a thin slice of the pie.Will Smith is amongst the U.S. stars with the closest ties to Bollywood. Smith has a production deal with one of India's leading studios and aims to marry the two industries. At the London premiere of his latest film "Seven Pounds" earlier this week, Smith confessed his fondness for Bollywood films: "I love the flavour, I love the energy," Smith told CNN. "It's bright, it's colourful. It speaks to my spirit! That's how I see life."Hollywood studios have been equally keen to get in on the action. Today, Warner Brothers Pictures give their first Bollywood production "Chandni Chowk to China," the biggest U.S. release of any Indian film to date, hoping it will emulate the success of Danny Boyle's Mumbai-based hit "Slumdog Millionaire." Akshay Kumar with co-stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan and the film's director Nikhil Advani at the premiere of 'Chandni Chowk to China.'

"I think we have something to take from them and we have something to give back," said Nikhil Advani the director of "Chandni Chowk" at the film's London premiere. "What we can take from them is the template to get a little more organized, and as far as they are concerned, they have a huge market they can cater to."A market of 1.2 billion to be exact, not to mention the enormous Indian diaspora spread across the globe - another potential goldmine. "It's a huge fan-base,” Indian superstar and "Chandni Chowk" protagonist Akshay Kumar said, "Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, and Afghans all over the world; they all enjoy Bollywood."

Aamir Khan’s Next Movie, Ghajini, Remake of Memento

So this is Curry Bear’s 2nd consecutive post where I had to link up two images side by side for comparison. Hey give a bear a break, I only got one eye and my field of vision is narrower than a virgin’s birth canal. If you know Curry Bear, you know that his favorite Bollywood actor after Amitabh is none other than Aamir Khan. He is probably the only mainstream Bollywood actor who is also a method actor. I truly believe that this guy will eat dog shit if it requires him to do so for a role. Aamir Khan makes very few movies in a given year but he only makes blockbusters. His next production is Ghajini, which is a remake of one of my other favorite movies, Memento. Memento was written and directed by Christopher Nolan, who also created The Dark Knight. So if Aamir Khan is going to copy a Hollywood movie, he might as well copy from one of the best directors out there. For those who don’t know, Memento is the story of a guy with a short-term memory problem who is looking for his wife’s killer.

Yes, I agree with you ladies, both men are hot (no homo). Aamir trained for one year to get that body by working out every day till he was bleeding from his dick (true story). You see folks, Aamir is real motherfucking actor. Salman Khan takes steroids to look jacked while Shah Rukh Khan spray paints 6-pack abs. Oh, and Hrithik is just a freak.Even though Ghajini is a remake of Memento with a few “Bollywood” changes, I still believe that this movie will be better than most Bollywood remakes of English movies because of Aamir Khan. I once saw Aamir Khan step on shit on the streets of Mumbai and it turned to gold. True story.

Shilpa Shetty Apologized To Shamita Shetty

Bollywood’a Sharara girl Shamita Shetty felt disappointed that Shilpa Shetty held her engagement with Raj Kundra when she was locked up inside Bigg Boss house. She was very much enthusiastic about Shilpa’s engagement and was highly upset to hear the news. “I was really sad to hear that Shilpa was doing this when I was in a reality show and could not get out of there to attend the event. Shilpa’s wedding is a cherished moment for the family and that includes me too. It’s going to happen just once and so I did not want to miss out on anything. I felt really horrible and disappointed that I missed her engagement,” revealed Shamita. Shilpa could not postpone her engagement as the day was auspicious and for that she had apologized to Shamita, “She sent me a sweet handwritten letter in which she apologised to me by saying sorry many times. I cried a lot after reading the letter because I knew she wanted to wait for me but the circumstances made her go ahead with the engagement. I have forgiven her for making me sad,” she said.

Shamita added, “I wanted to spend every single day with her and I really broke down. I was thinking that I was throwing away the days I should be with her by being in a reality show. She would get married and go to London and then I won’t be able to see her when I want to. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. Shilpa has already organised people who will help me out with my wedding dress and other things. I still have to figure out what gift I will be giving her.” Shilpa is getting married to Raj on November.
